On the last day of January 2026, Ludwigsburg offered one of those rare winter moments — when the cold softens and the sun decides to dance along.
We met for a slow morning walk through Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg, following the light as it slipped between facades, paths, and shared smiles.

Wrapped in winter coats and easy laughter, Kerstin and Robin moved through the castle grounds unhurried — letting the season set the pace. The quiet of January, the clarity of winter lines, and a connection that needed nothing more than being present.

We ended the walk exactly where winter stories belong: in a super cozy coffee place, warming up, holding cups a little longer, and letting the moment settle.

"Tiny Hands & Wagging Tails" is the first cozy chapter of Mihaela and David’s new adventure as a family—a gentle and joy-filled story that begins with a newborn heartbeat, a pair of loving arms, and the unmistakable energy of a very proud Frenchie named Railey. Their little boy, Yoan, is at the heart of it all—wide-eyed, peaceful, and already surrounded by more love than words could ever hold.

Yoan is no longer the tiny newborn from our last session. He’s curious, expressive, endlessly fascinating. Almost one year old, standing on the edge between babyhood and childhood—trying to walk, exploring every corner, discovering the world with wide eyes and fearless determination. Watching him grow and photographing him again after a year was deeply special. He remains my favorite small-big model—adorable, strong, and completely himself.

“Autumn Glow and Smiles” is a deeply personal and heartwarming project featuring Yana, who has been living in Berlin for many years. Despite her love for the city, she never had the chance to embrace one of its most magical seasons through a photoshoot. So, in 2024, we decided to change that.

Our session took us on a long and leisurely walk along the river Spree, where autumn had painted the city in its richest golden hues. Between the vibrant leaves and the soft sunlight, we captured portraits that truly represent Yana—her warmth, her confidence, and the quiet joy she radiates.

Set in the heart of Potsdam, we moved through the quiet charm of the Holländisches Viertel, the everyday rhythm of Brandenburger Straße, and the warm, inviting atmosphere of Zeit für Brot — where coffee, soft light, and closeness naturally meet.

This session is about togetherness without performance. Shared glances, hands intertwined, slow walks on cobblestones, and pauses that feel safe. Like a good mélange, it’s a blend of city life and intimacy, winter air and warmth, stillness and movement.

This shoot was taken in Dublin on the 12th of February, capturing a mix of indoor intimacy and urban street atmosphere.

We started in a quiet café setting, focusing on natural light and relaxed moments — reading, coffee, subtle expressions, and close-up portraits that highlight softness and authenticity. The goal was to create images that feel personal and effortless, almost like candid moments.

From there, we moved into the streets of Dublin. The wet pavements, brick facades, red doors and overcast sky created the perfect backdrop for a clean, urban look. The leather jacket, layered styling and structured silhouettes added strength and contrast to the softer indoor mood.

Captured in the UK on 22 February 2026, this session wasn’t just about a Ferrari California. It was about Harry — and what this car represents in his life.

The Ferrari California, finished in Rosso red, carries presence even at a standstill. Front-engine V8. Sculpted hood lines. A retractable hardtop. Inside, warm tan leather contrasts with black trim and precise red stitching. The yellow tachometer, the prancing horse emblem, the Ferrari-branded toolkit — every detail reflects craftsmanship and legacy.

But the story shifts the moment Harry steps in.

He is calm, grounded, quietly confident. The way he holds the steering wheel, the relaxed posture, the controlled expression — nothing feels forced. There’s familiarity there. Comfort. A man completely at ease in the driver’s seat.

This portrait session with Tara was created in collaboration with Foto Meyer and Sigma as part of testing Sigma’s f/1.2 Art prime lens series.

The shoot took place in Berlin around Viktoria-Luise-Platz, a location known for its elegant architecture, strong lines, and dramatic light. The surrounding columns, reflections and shadows created the perfect environment to explore how the Sigma 35mm f/1.2 DG DN Art performs in real urban settings.

Working at f/1.2, the lens offers remarkable subject separation while still keeping enough of the environment present to tell a story. The 35mm focal length allows a natural connection between photographer and subject — close enough for intimacy, wide enough to include the atmosphere of the city.

Throughout the session, Tara moved between strength and softness — strong editorial poses framed by architecture, quieter portrait moments shaped by light and shadow, and relaxed expressions that bring personality into the frame.

Rather than treating the lens test as a purely technical exercise, the focus was on what matters most in portrait photography: expression, character, and the relationship between subject and place.

This project brings together light painting and contemporary circus, exploring movement, balance, and trust through long exposure photography.

Created in Berlin on 24 January, the series features Paula and Jonas, two circus artists whose discipline, strength, and connection shaped every frame. Through acrobatics, hand balancing, and partner work, their bodies became part of the light — not just illuminated by it, but actively shaping it.

Using light as a drawing tool, each movement left a trace, turning fleeting gestures into visible lines, waves, and forms. The darkness of the space allowed focus on what matters most: precision, rhythm, and the silent dialogue between two bodies in motion.

There is something hypnotic about the way a dancer moves—how their body becomes both weightless and grounded at the same time. In this session with Björn Burgund, a contemporary dancer and model based between Berlin and Lisbon, we explored the quiet intensity of movement and presence.

Shot in the soft, natural light of Studio Cherie in Berlin, this series captures the raw essence of contemporary dance—fluid yet controlled, expressive yet disciplined. Through the interplay of shadows and highlights, Björn’s movements take on an almost cinematic quality, blurring the line between motion and stillness.

From the poised tension in his hands to the subtle storytelling in his gaze, each image is a fragment of a larger narrative—one that speaks of emotion, freedom, and the beauty of the fleeting moment. A study in form, a dance with light, a portrait of motion.

“Das Herz des Winterzaubers” is a magical Christmas project that captures the enchanting atmosphere of Christmas markets in Germany. From twinkling lights to festive decorations, the images embody the warmth, joy, and wonder of the holiday season.

Berlin’s Festival of Lights 2024 turned the city into a dazzling canvas of creativity and light, and amidst it all, The Thinker stood at the Sony Center, Potsdamer Platz. This captivating installation, with its serene yet monumental presence, invited everyone to pause and reflect.

I captured this photograph during a quiet moment under the iconic blue canopy of the Sony Center. The play of light and shadow, combined with the striking design of The Thinker, created a powerful composition that felt both introspective and grand.

This image wasn’t just about documenting the festival—it told a story of connection between art, architecture, and emotion. Submitted to the Berlin Festival of Lights contest, it was honored with the first-place award, a recognition of the magic this moment held.
