I’m Chrissy, a Berlin-based photographer with a serious love for storytelling and capturing people. My lens is always focused on the magic of everyday life ✨ and those special, blink-and-you-miss-it moments 💫. I’m all about turning the ordinary into something unforgettable, creating photos that speak to the heart ❤️ and stir up emotions. Whether it’s a couple in love 💑, a smiling face 😊, an amazing pet 🐾, or simply the mystery of a city or a new place 🌍 – stories are born everywhere; we just have to see and embrace them. 

History

It all started almost as a joke, but isn’t that how the best things begin—the ones we truly burn for? 🔥 Over 15 years ago, I bought my first camera—a Pentax *ist DL. The feeling of holding something more than just a tiny hobby camera in my hands was incredible 🎥, and it sparked a fire in me. I started roaming the streets of Sofia, capturing whatever caught my eye—friends, acquaintances, fleeting moments in the city 🌆. Little by little, things began to take shape.

Soon after, I landed an internship at one of the largest newspapers 📰, working in the culture section, and that’s where I dove headfirst into concert and event photography 🎶. It was an absolute dream. Imagine a high school student going to concerts, covering events, and then seeing her photos published in one of Bulgaria’s biggest newspapers the next day. It might sound like a small thing, but for me, it was an unforgettable experience—one that still sticks with me to this day 💭.

That’s when I realized I had found my passion 💡. I began experimenting, photographing everything from everyday scenes to more complex ideas, working on my craft over the years. And after all this time, photography has become woven into the fabric of my everyday life 📸.

For me, photography is the magic ✨ that we can still find in today’s fast-paced world. Even after moving from Bulgaria to Germany, I continue to search for that magic 🌍. It’s a part of who I am now—my camera and I, always ready to capture those blink-and-you-miss-it moments 💫, the tiny wonders around us that often go unnoticed.

By the way, I still own my first camera to this day 📸, even though it’s probably covered in dust and sits lonely in the cabinet ✨.
